Very helpful and great app for pdf,tnx

I love the update! But I cant seem to find the tool bar! I have the small bar on the right side of my iPad. But Id also like the button on the top so I can choose between the different tool options. Can anyone help me get that back please!!???

Ive tried other pdf readers and this is by far the best one for free

On a scale of 1 to 10, PDF Max swings between a "12" and maybe about a "2". It is the most awesome annotation app imaginable, but updates are very, very scary. It seems like updates are released before they are ready or have been tested, and with little explanation of why sweeping changes have been made or how to use the modified features. Twice I have had the sad experience of disappearing data. The first time this happened, hundreds of hours of research and annotations silently slipped away with no option other than just getting over it and moving on without my notes. So while I really LOVE PDF Max, its weaknesses take away much of the joy of using it. PDF Max could learn a lot from the adage, "If it aint broke, please just leave it alone and dont try to fix it."

Best in everything. Most importantly easy to use and navigate. I use this app to take notes in school which is easier, faster, lighter than notebooks, but most importantly you can save paper. And on the plus side, its FREE!!!!

I generally like PDF Max but each time they have an update I end up with problems. I am unable to use or have access to features I paid for previously sometimes. I would never depend on it for anything of absolute necessity. Thank goodness it isnt updated that often.

I bought the in-app premium version in Jan 2013. After their update of the app, my in-app purchase disappeared. When I tried to restore it, I received an error message "In-app purchase not found." Ive sent this info to them twice, no response. Im working with Apple now. Keep track of all your purchases. Mobeera could care less. They want your money. 10/14/2015 Send a 3rd request for a restore of the app - no response! 10/15/2015 Mobeera responded positively and I received my app back. I believe it could have been an oversight - regardless this is the PDF app I like the most! Change my review to 5 stars.

This is a very good application to read pdf files from the servers but lately it stopped syncing with dropbox. It is frustrating.

PDF Max does a nice job of making editing easy, however that one simple, essential task at the end, namely saving it in a manner accessible outside of PDF Max was made more convoluted than I have encountered with any other program. It kept claiming to save to iCloud, but nope, just kidding. In hopes of the premium version letting me out of the trap I did the in-app upgrade, but despite allusions to GoogleDrive and DropBox, no such options were added when I made the purchase.

I love this app it saves me so much time to open in edit and resend right back without printing- writing-or faxing anything back!

It has quickly become my sole PDF management tool. Easy to use, quick, clean interface.

This is one of my favorite applications. I can have all my articles, papers, etc., in one place.

This application is incredible. Truly incredible, even for the free version. I am likely going to upgrade to the premium just to support the developers even though I dont need those features for my business. Speaking of which, please, please, please developers you need to add Apple Pencil support with proper detection and a ruler (like the native notes application). This application gets confused if your palm is resting on the device, whereas other programs will ignore it. Even if you make it a premium feature that is fine. If you need a beta tester, let me know! Its a great application! Truly, there shouldnt be an iPad without this application installed.

Screen froze after several months use. Can no longer access documents in library. Support non responsive. Avoid....prefer Good Reader.

I am so impressed with this app. Its strange to me how difficult it seems for most companies/developers to put out PDF writers of worth without them costing a butt load of money. This one meets the mark, and its free! There are components, of course, that are only available in the paid version, but they are bells and whistles rather than the ignition and wheels. The more I use the app, the more I feel its only right that I buy the full version because this product is simply superb.

ICloud sync doesnt work between my iPad and iPhone and the developer doesnt respond to support. Waste of money.

looking good and performance is great, but need to fix an error with apple pencil. in every freehand stroke starting portion is not recognized

They make this app sound great but once you install it, you learn that you only have access to a couple of editing features and if you want more, you need to upgrade. Bogus!

When selecting text with multiple lines for highlighting, etc., the text selector does not start at the beginning of the subsequent lines but instead it begins under the first character selected. It is surprising that such a basic fracture does not work properly! Also, this app does not support thumbnail view covering the entire screen. There is no fast scrolling with pages shown fit to width. This app needs major improvement and fixes.
